Fixed Prosthetics

Fixed restorations on natural teeth, from monolithic zirconia crowns and layered e.max aesthetics to laser-sintered metal-ceramic crowns and veneers. Every case is digitally designed and CAD/CAM manufactured.

Monolithic ZirconiaMonolithic zirconia crowns and bridges are milled in one piece from a single disc by CAD/CAM, without veneering porcelain, offering high strength and no chipping risk in the posterior region.View Layered Zirconia (E.max)Layered zirconia combines a CAD/CAM-milled zirconia framework with IPS e.max ceramic applied by hand, layer by layer, preserving the strength of zirconia while achieving natural depth, translucency and a lifelike appearance in the aesthetic zone.View Metal-Ceramic Crown (Laser-Sintered)A metal-ceramic crown with a laser-sintered Cr-Co framework and porcelain veneering: the proven classic, produced digitally for a homogeneous framework without casting defects and with consistent fit.View Veneers (E.max / Empress)Veneers are thin ceramic shells bonded adhesively to the tooth surface. Made from IPS e.max lithium disilicate or IPS Empress, they deliver natural translucency with minimal tooth reduction.View

Fixed prosthetics are crowns, bridges and veneers cemented onto prepared natural teeth. At Marjinal CAD, every restoration in this group follows a digital workflow: your intraoral scan or conventional impression is digitised, the restoration is designed in 3Shape or Exocad, and it is manufactured on a 5-axis CAD/CAM milling unit or by laser sintering.

  • Monolithic zirconia: Full-contour zirconia crowns and bridges for posterior regions that demand high strength.
  • Aesthetic zirconia (e.max): Zirconia frameworks with layered ceramic for anterior aesthetics.
  • Metal-ceramic crown (laser): Laser-sintered Cr-Co frameworks veneered with porcelain.
  • Veneers (e.max / Empress): Laminate veneers for minimally invasive preparations.

Marginal fit, contact points and occlusion are checked digitally during design. We choose the material with you, based on the indication, the opposing dentition and the aesthetic goal. Before milling starts, the design is sent to you for approval as screenshots or a PDF.
