About Us

Marjinal CAD is a private dental laboratory in Turkey working with dentists and clinics. We produce fixed prosthetics, implant restorations, digital designs and provisionals, and we manage every case in a digital workflow from impression to delivery. Marginal fit, meaning a restoration margin that seats precisely on the preparation line, is at the centre of everything we do.

A lab built around a digital workflow

Your impressions are digitised with some of the most accurate scanners available. If you work with an intraoral scanner, we accept data from iTero, 3Shape TRIOS and Medit directly; an STL or PLY file is all we need. Conventional impressions are scanned in the lab and enter the same digital process.

We design in 3Shape, Exocad and Dentalwings. Production runs on an Arum 5-axis CAD/CAM milling unit, laser sintering for Cr-Co frameworks, a 3D printer for resin provisionals and an Ivoclar Vivadent Programat P300 furnace for ceramic firing. This equipment chain keeps the geometry planned in the design intact through manufacturing.

• IPS e.max lithium disilicate and IPS Empress
• PMMA and 3D-printing resin (provisionals)
• Cr-Co and titanium (frameworks and abutments)

We choose the material with you, based on the indication, the opposing dentition and your patient’s aesthetic expectations. Strength comes first in the posterior region, while translucency and shade transitions matter most in the anterior; we weigh this balance for every case.

Working the way dentists work

Communication between lab and practice determines the quality of the restoration. Your prescription is the basis of every case, and when something is unclear we ask you before production starts. Once the digital design is complete, you receive screenshots or a PDF report for approval; any changes to form, contacts, occlusion or shade are made directly in the design. Nothing is milled or printed until you approve it.

After sintering, layering and glazing, each restoration is checked for marginal fit, contact points, occlusion and shade before it leaves the lab. Because every design file is stored in our digital archive, a remake or additional work can start from the same data without delay.

Clinics in Turkey and abroad

A digital case intake means we can work not only with practices nearby but also with clinics in Germany and elsewhere in Europe. Scan files are sent online, design approval is given remotely, and shipping and communication are agreed with you at the start of the collaboration.
