Digital Design & Provisionals
Mock-ups and smile design, premill custom abutments, 3D-printed and PMMA provisionals. They let you plan form, function and aesthetics digitally before the definitive restoration.
Digital design and provisional restorations let you test the treatment plan in the mouth before the definitive prosthesis is made. The form defined in the smile design is shown to the patient as a mock-up, and the approved design then becomes the basis for both the provisional and the final restoration.
Restorations in this group
- Mock-up / Smile Design: Digital smile design and a mock-up for intraoral try-in.
- Premill custom abutment: Patient-specific abutments milled from titanium premill blanks on a 5-axis unit.
- 3D-printed provisional: Provisional crowns and bridges printed in resin.
- PMMA provisional: Provisionals milled from PMMA blanks, suitable for longer-term wear.
All work is designed in 3Shape, Exocad or Dentalwings and kept in our digital archive. The form approved in the provisional can therefore be transferred one-to-one to the final restoration, so what you discussed with your patient is what you receive. Every design is sent to you as screenshots or a PDF for approval before production.
